Chicago, Ill. – August 22, 2013 – Valence Health, a leading provider of clinical integration, population health and financial risk management solutions, has made the Inc. 500|5000 list of fastest growing private companies in America. The Company was recognized for its 133 percent growth over the three year period from 2009 to 2012 and continues to experience significant growth in 2013, with plans to expand its employee base by 50 percent before year’s end to support its momentum in the health care industry.
“It comes as little surprise that Valence is being recognized by Inc. Magazine for its rapid growth,” said Phil Kamp, chief executive officer for Valence Health. “As health care continues to evolve, our
dedication to and innovation in supporting health care providers as they undergo significant transformations will be critical in allowing these organizations to better manage the cost and quality of care for their patient populations.”
Valence now has more than 375 employees serving some of the nation’s premier health care provider organizations, such as Cleveland Clinic, OhioHealth and St. Luke’s Health System. The Company expects to add yet another 40 employees by year end, and to see very strong annual revenue growth of more than 35 percent.
Inc. Magazine’s lists have celebrated the innovation, commitment, and hard work required to channel the entrepreneurial spirit into successful corporations since 1981. Initially the Inc. list only reported the 100 fastest growing privately-held companies. As the private business sector grew, so did Inc.’s coverage- acknowledging the top 500 and the top 5000 privately-held U.S. companies. A broader scope allows Inc. to provide readers with a deeper understanding of the entrepreneurial landscape. Household names like Microsoft, Zappos, Clif Bar, and Jamba Juice have received Inc.
recognition for their impressive growth.
"For 32 years, Inc. has welcomed the fastest-growing private companies in America into a very exclusive club," said Inc. Magazine Editor Eric Schurenberg. "Make no mistake: the club is more exclusive this year than ever in its history. [The companies on the list have achieved] results most businesses could only dream of in the economy of the past three years."
